At the public meeting on Monday 19 December, we explored the behaviour of the County Council and with the support of our Ward Councillors - Hazel Hodgson and Ali Jama, considered whether there were any legal challenges that might delay or stop the sale of the Abbey. Two legal procedures are being considered, taking out an injunction and initiating a judicial review. We believe that due process might not have been followed in the Community Asset Transfer Process.
